theinternetaccordingtoadrian asked: I was initially caught up in the hype and nostalgia, I'll be the first to admit it. I tried to convince myself that I liked it. I bought a the PS3+MSG4 bundle for the game, so liking the game was a matter of validation. But with that much playtime, its cracks seem all that more apparent. Looking back and considering it in the context of where this generation has gone, in game design as well as narrative, MSG4 is an anachronism.
hmm i enjoyed it completely! - it was unlike any other game in the market back then and still today. it was very hideo kojima. granted 86% of the game is watching cutscenes, but i enjoyed those too, it was like an epic movie. for a fan of all the previous MGS’s it was brilliant to see all the crazy story arcs all the way back from mgs1 to have a type of conclusion. anyway what are your favorite games then?
theinternetaccordingtoadrian asked: I indeed finished it. Played it through 4 times. Even did the whole 'no alerts, no health items used, no one killed, no continues' playthrough as well.
er and this is a game you think sucks?
